After some thought, Dauti eventually made the call with bottom pair and was eliminated in second place. The two battled back and forth for awhile until Bibat rivered trips and moved all in. When heads-up play started Bibat had an almost 2-1 chip lead on Dauti. The board didn't improve Antimony and she was eliminated in third place. Three-handed play lasted awhile until Anna "Dusty4" Antimony picked up king-nine and ran into the pocket tens for Dauti. Alfred "5kTonight" Gillette picked up pocket sevens and moved in against Bibat who held ace-eight and hit a pair to eliminate Gillette in fourth place. The board didn't improve Garosshen's hand and he was eliminated in fifth place. Garosshen became short-stacked and moved in with ten-seven and was called by Dauti with pocket eights. The board ran out queen-high and Lindsay was sent to the rail in sixth place. Katie "katelin" Lindsay picked up ace-jack and moved her last chips in and was called by the pocket kings for Bibat. The next to go was Waylon "Hunt_Dizzle" Frey who only had two big blinds left and was in the big blind with seven-four against the pocket jacks for Bibat. The board ran out with four hearts and Dauti scored a flush to eliminate Klump in ninth place. The championship also paid six figures to runner-up David Johnston ($174,909), and third place finisher Gloria Jackson ($106,724).The turbo structure made all ins fast and furious and the final table kicked off with Levi "lvraiders16" Klump all in with pocket tens against the pocket nines for Dauti. In the first tournament Adam Goldberg and Anna Antimony won $129,319 and $126,146, respectively. Several six figure prizes were awarded in addition to Hartshorn’s big win yesterday. It included multiple tournaments including the Borgata Deepstack Kick Off No Limit Hold’em, the Junkies Poker Open No Limit Hold’em, the Super Stack Elevator, the Deepstack Black Chip Bounty, several deepstacks, an Almighty Stack, Six Max, Super Survivor, and finally the Poker Open Championship. The 2016 Borgata Fall Poker Open began on November 8 and concluded on November 23. Before this win he had never broken six figures, having earned is previous best of $98,308 in October at the Parx Casino. His perseverance paid off big time, scoring Hartshorn the largest payout of his career. Hartshorn had to chip away at Johnston’s stack little by little for hours before he was finally able to bring the game to a finish with pocket eights against Johnston’s king jack of clubs. Johnston came into the heads-up with a 2-1 chip lead on Hartshorn, which was not easily overcome. He had to endure a long, six-hour heads-up battle against New Jersey poker pro David Johnston. Hartshorn’s first place finish was not easily won. Travis Hartshorn of Sarver, Pennsylvania took the title, scoring the Borgata trophy and $302,978. The 2016 Borgata Fall Poker Open Championship took place this week, drawing a field of 489 entries.
